Thank you to all who attended our first Exhibition last week, which focused on math and the screening of a new documentary "Counted Out." We also had a major spread of food and other treats, with proceeds going to the middle school trip to DC in the spring.
Take a moment today and even throughout the week to acknowledge our local Veterans. Consider reaching out to various Veterans organizations in Maine, locations for which can be found here.
The remainder of this week will focus on finalizing all grades and assessment information. I've included a new page on our website dedicated to how we evaluate teaching and learning at several levels. Report cards will be mailed out this Friday.
Finally, we sent out a quick message last week about some students who have lingering respiratory symptoms. The front office has had a significant uptick in traffic, asking for cough drops, Tylenol, and temperatures. Please monitor symptoms for the usual round of fall and winter illnesses, namely strep, that typically start as colds and quickly evolve to larger respiratory conditions if left untreated.
Even one day at home can make all the difference in terms of recovery.
