We had some basketball last week, and we have more basketball ahead of us! Please make note of the game schedule. This season, we will be streaming home games and some away games (depending on who is able) on YouTube. You can always visit the NHCS channel for access to LIVE games, or you can watch them anytime, all in the same place! Just use this link.
Two additional reminders this week. One, we have a picture retake day TOMORROW. Two, the Paige Shoot-a-Thon is this Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30. Enjoy some foul shots and hot dogs, all to benefit the Demmons family.
On another note, we want to make sure everyone is safe coming in and out of the parking lot during high traffic moments in the morning and afternoon. I was alerted to a near miss last week, so let us think about traffic patterns. I've tried to lay out some directions in the diagram below.
The front circle is always counterclockwise one way;
At about the dotted line, two-way traffic can resume;
When backing out of spaces above this dotted line, please make your way around the circle to exit; and
For maximum visibility, pedestrians should always walk in front of their car and along the projects building to and from the main entrance, making sure to use sidewalks where applicable.
In particular to number four, we've seen kids pop out from behind cars and into the circle. Although speeds are relatively low, we still need to be careful. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to our last week ahead before a much-needed break.
