You'll be excited to hear that this is the last Hawksweek of the 2024-2025 school year, which means this is the last week of school. Please make note of the schedule below because we have special events pretty much every day and evening of the week.

At the end of the week, we'll have an opportunity to celebrate our seniors one last time with our annual commencement ceremony. Additionally, students will "step-up" this week, as well as discuss their options during PLP meetings. And, all grades K-11 will have a chance to celebrate accomplishments and achievements during a full Celebration of Learning event.

We'll have a bunch of information displayed in the front commons during this event as well, sharing some new things coming up next year. We will also make this information available on our website thereafter.

Otherwise, we look forward to the official wind down this week. It's not everyday we get a chance to achieve some closure on one year, and we get to start with a relative clean slate the next go-around. Let's take advantage of some reflection and approach the next year with fresh eyes.

In addition to student achievements, I want to take some space here to acknowledge staff members who are leaving NHCS at the end of this year. We wish long-time French teacher Janis Jones Félicitations on her upcoming retirement (isn't this the second or third time?).

We also want to wish Alix and Todd Martin our best on their next adventures, as well as Sparks and Wolfie. You will all be missed.

Let's also congratulate and welcome Julia Kurr as our "new" Kindergarten teacher (although not necessarily new to NHCS).

Finally, we don't want to forget our new staff members for next year: Catherine Corson (PE), Alexis Jackson (Art), and Kate Hotchkiss-Taylor (World Language). We are very fortunate to experience no disruptions to our regular programming and look forward to new opportunities.
