It was the culmination of some old and new traditions last week. We had our annual Knowledge Fair, followed by celebratory pancakes the next morning. Many thanks to the group of staff members who hit the griddles early in the morning! 

More broadly, Knowledge Fair is turning out to be only one of four exhibitions of learning each year, which is an initiative we've only experienced in the last few years. Less may be more in many respects, but it turns out that more is more when it comes to celebrating the hard work of our staff and students, and inviting the whole community to celebrate with us. It is one thing to say we're open and visible, but it's another to put that transparency into practice. We hope to continue these latter aspirations.

Please remember to get those permission slips in this week for Friday's skating trip. Getting those in by Wednesday at the latest will help us make an accurate headcount for planning purposes. What a way to spend the day before spring vacation!
