We can definitely tell that fall is in the air as our stroll through September continues. One significant highlight every fall is the commencement of the annual Fall Field Study, with a hardy group of high school students embarking on the journey through Baxter tomorrow.
The Fall Field Study is a very unique experience for students and staff, in particular at a public school. It is so embedded in our program that it remains a valuable requirement for graduation.
Although the precise academic requirements of the experience may vary from one year to the next, perhaps the most significant learning comes from participation. Dealing with discomfort, taking risks, and pushing beyond one's limits are all soft skills that strongly correlate to future academic success.
Thank you parents and families for your support.
