As we enter the third full week of school, we have to first acknowledge our high school students and trip leaders for what I am sure was an amazing Fall Field Study. It takes a tremendous amount of work to plan this kind of experience and to ensure that everyone is safe. It's also important not to lose our cool when something does not go as planned, like a van breaking down! Personally, some of my best memories come from adversity. With that, Bravo Zulu to John Waterman, Amilia Campbell, Maddie Hallowell, Oakley Jackson, Todd Martin, Fred Emrich, and Samantha Taggart.
We should also note that a small group of secondary students spent all week planning upcoming community dinners here at school and assisted with various projects around the entire island. More details to come on when these events will occur.
Please make note that we have a lot going on this week. Acting Out is beginning in addition to a lot of soccer. We also have hot lunch. But most importantly, THE BUS IS BACK!!
