If I had a nickel for each time I've heard how fast this summer went, well, I'd probably have a few bucks by now. So, yes, the summer indeed went by as quickly as it usually does. But there are those of us, myself included, that look fondly on resuming some kind of routine or regimen. And back to school also means for many of you a time to finally catch a breath after a busy summer season.
On behalf of the entire staff at NHCS, we definitely look forward to getting the band back together, so to speak. It will be shocking to see how tall everyone has gotten. We'd also like to congratulate our new Kindergartners as you've graduated to the "big school."
As we always do, even if it will be Tuesday, we will still begin this week with our typical Monday morning whole school meeting at the flagpole, which starts at about 8AM as soon as the bus arrives. All are welcome to join us! Additionally, there will be NO HOT LUNCH THIS WEEK. We will update you on the official start date for lunch this year.
As you will see in the schedule below, there is a busy soccer season already underway. We'll also have a few afterschool events this first week. Mark your calendars, folks. Here we go!
