We hope everyone had a restful and restorative winter break and we look forward to seeing everyone Monday morning. Hopefully the time away helped us all recover from the various illnesses that swept through our community in the last couple of weeks!

We have a full five day week coming up with all the fixings. Now that basketball is behind us, we can focus on what's ahead with the addition of One Acts and Esports. We'll also be looking to fill a couple of spots on a small debate team in the coming weeks, with more details to come.

During morning meeting tomorrow, we'll be handing out Honor Roll and High Honor Roll certificates for the second quarter. We had so many absences over the last couple of weeks it was better to wait until we were all healthy.

We are excited to announce that our new Esports initiative will begin on Tuesday at NHCS! As this is only our second year, we currently have about 15 players signed up.

Below is the schedule for the games and matches. I will meet with all players during lunch/recess on Monday to provide a brief overview.

Students are encouraged to bring their own consoles and controllers to ensure we have enough equipment. If you are signed up to play, please also bring any systems or peripherals you plan to use on Monday. I will keep these items in a secure location while I work to ensure that all systems can connect to our wireless network and are ready to play.

All matches will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Therefore, it is beneficial for students to stay at school to allow us ample time for setup and preparation.
