The great wind-down is about to begin. We have two days of continued basketball action and then a much smoother slide into February break. There are so many folks to thank for another exciting season. Let us make sure that we congratulate both of our Varsity teams for their wins against Vinalhaven, and we definitely look forward to the games on Monday.

Report cards will be circulating this week and we will celebrate the second quarter with our next Exhibition night, this Thursday at 5:00PM. More details, including the exhibits, will be posted later this week. We'll have some fundraisers going as well, so please stop by!

We are very excited that Kelsey has returned, so make sure you say hello when you see her. But we also want to send our gratitude to Martha Taggart who worked with us over the last several weeks. I will leave you with a note that Martha left for the entire community:

To the School Community,

I am so happy to have gotten to know all of you in recent months as I’ve filled in as a long-term sub for Kelsey (who returns this week). You have an incredible school, with so much talent and spirit, and a loving, supportive community. I’ve seen you handle major challenges this winter, and you did it expertly! Here’s hoping the rest of your year will be normal and awesome! Sending love & encouragement to NCHS seniors as you finalize your plans for next year. I will be around, possibly subbing, and am always available for questions & advice. And to all NHCS students: keep an open mind and heart; explore your options; know your strengths; and plan ahead. It will be great! 

Although the calendar below may seem a bit lighter than usual, that's a good thing. That means a relative return to some routine and consistency of scheduling. We will also be opening up to other opportunities throughout the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned.
