The orange ball, my friends, wields tremendous power. And it continues this week in full force.

A great deal of this week will focus on basketball. In fact, for some of the day tomorrow, Monday, we'll only have a dozen or so students in the building due to all three teams traveling.

Overall, we are extraordinarily pleased with the grit, determination, and dedication demonstrated by our teams. It is also heartening to see so many of our students participating. So, while it can be somewhat discombobulating from an academic standpoint, we have students from so many different ages working together towards common goals. They are gathering unforgettable experiences both on island and off, expanding their networks, and seeing themselves grow and progress in new areas.

With that, the end of the second quarter is approaching on the 24th of January. We need to work together to ensure that our student-athletes are keeping up and maintaining academic focus. Do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teachers with any questions or concerns.
