We hope you had a healthy and restorative holiday break. Here's to 2024, and still writing 2023 on checks and anything else that requires a date for the next several weeks.

Please note that our first day back is not until Tuesday the second, and we have a late start of 11AM to accommodate any last minute travel on the first boat.

If you are or have a senior at NHCS, members of the Island Institute will be visiting Wednesday afternoon to meet with students to discuss scholarships and gap year funding. Compared to other states and communities, students at NHCS have access to a wide variety of funding opportunities for college, careers, and other post-secondary programs. Money is available for everything from tuition and apprenticeship programs to tools. I've even heard that some organizations actually have a hard time awarding funds because they get so few applicants. North Haven students are especially competitive. So, please take advantage of every opportunity that is available, and we are always happy to help with whatever you need.

We have a few home basketball games coming up this week, so it will be a busy one for our players. Feel free to come on out and cheer on our teams. You can view them live on our Youtube channel, or watch them later at your own convenience.

We look forward to a strong start to 2023... I mean, 2024!
